Unfortunately, pretty low vs our expectation. Rooms too dark, we were unable to get the A/C run properly. Maybe because of the old rustic decor, feels like pretty dirty, bathrooms lack ventilation. The bad - Rooms were dark and felt a little dirty. Not enough lighting or fresh air. Bathroom was uncomfortable and dark. Water pressure poor. WiFi weak in rooms and fair in lobby. We went to Real Minas for three nights. It had a really nice atmosphere. There was a really nice pool and breakfast was included. I found the staff helpful and very willing to accomodate. The wifi was good as well. It took about 10 minutes to walk downtown. We are very pleased we chose this hotel. More

Nice courtyard accessing the reception desk, the restaurant, lounge area, etc. Decent restaurant. Not much English spoken at the desk. It's a nice hotel, loved the swimming pool in the summer, conveniently located near the downtown core. The staff was very friendly. We had a nice room with a small balcony overlooking the pool area. Corn on the cob and roasted chicken vendors nearby. Yummy! More
