Loved it here! Rooms are gorgeous, their staff is super friendly, they will spoil you! Great value, the only down side is that it's located a little far away from the square (not walking distance) but it's a 5 minute cab drive away. If you are planning on purchasing and shipping stuff to the U.S. DON'T HIRE Alan Kent Moving... More

This is where we stayed with our little baby girl for 2 nights - it was different from any other room we have been in before. If felt like if you were a child again and were spending your holiday over your grandma. Funky furniture and original passage to the bathroom. It was cozy even with a little child and... More

We stayed for two nights in Casa de Liza and absolutely loved it, the whole setting with all the different rooms was just stunning, we spent the first 20 minutes just exploring all the different nooks and crannies in the garden! Our room was the "Tree House" (one of the cheapest) which was pretty much that, up a steep winding... More

My 3 sisters and I stayed in the Villa Manuela for 3 nights over the San Miguel festival weekend. The location was fantastic just a quick 5-10 minute walk to the main Jardin. The grounds were beautiful. The Villa was an amazing old building with lots of antiques, winding staircase to the 2nd floor, 1 3/4 bath, kitchen, all beautifully... More

I previously reported that i had difficulty with an overcharge at this B&B. The management was not helpful, and Visa initially credited, and then rescinded, the overcharged amount. I am pleased to report that the problem has now been resolved, and the manager Lorenzo Campos has refunded the excess charge. It did take 6 months to accomplish, but I am... More

I really cant say enough good things about San Miguel and especially Casa Liza. Through a lucky turn of events we stayed in a casita that was worth twice what we paid. The service was impeccable, with turn down service and straitening of the room and towels and such every single time we left ( 2 or 3 times a... More

We recently spent a week at Casa Liza and stayed in the Library Room. It was beautifully decorated and packed with art and books. The grounds too are absolutely charming, and impeccably maintained. The gourmet breakfasts (made to order) were absolutely delicious, and staff was very helpful and accommodating. I hope to return to SMA, and if we do we... More

Our breath was taken away when we stepped in Casa de Liza. It is absolutely beautiful! The grounds were like a botanical garden. Our room was enchanting. We loved the Corner suite. The view was awesome. Seeing the sunrise and the sunset was a real treat! Not to mention, the gas fireplace really set the mood. It was absolutely romantic!... More

Our stay at Casa Liza was a great experience, made much more so by the staff and owner's family. Three of us shared the Villa Manuela. What a classic beauty! We love the fireplaces, the breakfasts served in the villa's dining room, and the old world charm. This was our 5th stay and 5th B&B in San Miguel de Allende.... More

I have stayed at Casa Liza twice, Feb 07 and Feb 08. I have traveled all over the world, and never encounter a staff so kind, caring and eager to serve. Lorenzo and Idalia do an outstanding job! As a tour operator, specializing in small groups, I look for unique, upmarket proerties with good food. Casa Liza definitely fits the... More
