We have been going to Sherkston as a family for our two week camping vacation for the past three years. First the pros: we love the location. The beaches on the Lake side (when not totally packed) are perfect for kids to wonder in as it is very gradual and sandy in most spots. The option of having three beaches... More

We went to Sherkston for a long weekend before the season really starts as we are not golf cart people, but we are scuba people. We chose to camp at Cliffview as it is where the scuba entry is. We picked site 13 as we did not want to be right next to the diver parking. It was a cold... More

Family owns a few cottages and we go almost every other weekend. Never a dull time. It might be loud at night and there might be 12 year old's driving around in golf carts, but it's a cottage and people are just there to have fun. The only downside is that there are sometimes theft's within the park and fights... More

My family vacations a SS every year for the last 5 years. We usually say a Monday to Friday at a deluxe home with lakefront on WyldeWood Beach but this year we are staying a week as we enjoy it so much. We always stay in early June otherwise you pay at least $1250.00 more. I have read all of... More

Spent a week with family in August and was a great place with lots to do, or option of just relaxing on the beach or deck. Booked through private rental and was pleased with lakefront location in a quiet part of the park with less traffic. Happy that we were close enough to all the amenities, pool, waterslides, tennis court,... More

Big camping site! Lots to do, big pool, water slide, long beach, miniput, basketball, tennis, all the goods... except the security part! Crazy place, kids driving golf carts fast and not respecting any stop signs and speed limits, even the staff in their truck are speeding. The shower are dirty and filty. The stairs for the water slides are rotten... More

The servers in the restaurant seem to hate their job and haven't been trained very well in customer service! Also at the front desk and the pool the attendants are unfriendly and look like they'd rather be somewhere else!!!

Aside from the partying drunk teenagers, thefts, insanely underage reckless golfcart drivers and virtually no peace and quiet at the campsite, we had a good time! We were camping at the Beachview location. The location is great (next to the quarry) but it is extremely loud and busy. Security is useless during what is supposed to be quiet time and... More

Our family rented a 3 bedroom trailer for 5 days at Sherkston Shores after the September holiday weekend. As our kids are still in daycare, we decided to visit during the off-peak season as it is a lot cheaper and there are no crowds at all. The only downside of an off-peak stay is that many of the amenities (water... More

I realize that a review is really someone's emotional response and can be heavily influenced by a single negative experience, by the reviewer's state of mind at the time, or by inflated expectations. It is also true that we ourselves are greatly responsible for the success or the failure of an experience. None of these axioms are influencing my review... More
