“Return to Grasshopper Cottage”

It was great to be back again enjoying the warm hospitality of Roy and Sorcha. The setting and the Doorus peninsular which runs out into Lough Corrib is quite spectacular and thought they cater for trout fishermen mainly it is a lovely place to stay to explore the region.

Grasshopper Cottage has it all, located on the shores of the mighty Lough Corrib, with majestic views of the Lough and the surrounding mountains. We have just stayed again at Grasshopper with some scottish friends. Both Roy with his fishing and gardening knowledge and Sorcha with her great breakfasts super packed lunches and welcome along with Lizzie the dog make it a home from home. Wow! What a great place to go to just relax, take a hike or take in a day of fishing. Great accommodations, great hospitality, and a beautiful view from our room. I would highly recommend this place.
