Close to the ruins and beach and free bikes, great breakfast... But. Not the cleanest place. The private room was ok, but no tv and the hot water was iffy at best. And the guys running the place are a bit sleazy (I was traveling alone). They also "forgot" that I had paid already. Awkward having to watch the security... More

-Bad location. on a main road, so there is lots of noise and dust), -Bad service. We had a 10% off coupon for the first visit. they didn't want to take it because they said it was our second visit: the first time we stop to ask for information counted as our first visit. -No hot water, and small terrible... I agree with all the horrible reviews below. This hostel holds your passport "hostage" until you check out. There are "free" bikes for you to use. Everyone of them had leaky tires and got flat. When I went to check out they charged me for popping the tires. Such a scam...they knew they were handing me faulty equipment to increase... More

A guy came to us at the bus station and convinced us to get a taxi out to lobo. The price he told us at the bus station was a lie. It cost quite a bit more than promised for a stinky damp dingy dorm. The pool we were told about looked like it was filled with swamp water. I... More

we were mobbed at the bus staton and pursuaded to stay here...wish we had done some research before we arrived! We were lured with cheap prices, a pool, free bikes etc. The prices weren't true, the pool was disgusting and the free bikes almost unusable. We only stayed cause we'd had to pay for a taxi from town to get... More

We arrived in the evening and got a double room shown to us by the afternoon receptionist. He took us in and there was a funky smell but we assumed as he didnt mention anything about it was just normal. He gave us an A/C room for 350 pesos instead of 440. The room, besides the smell, was basic. the... More

First of all I want to make it clear that we did not stay at Lobo Inn, we only rented a scooter there. They are open 24hrs a day, you can pick it up or drop it off anytime. Price for renting a scooter for 24hrs was just above $30 . The guy was friendly, spoke good english. The contract... More

The place is dirty , the attitude is terrible. The only good t hing is the location near the ruins and the free bikes. However, it ended up costing us 200 pesos, since form one of the bikes we didn't receive a lock, and we only noticed it I While arriving to the beach. They refuse to offer a solution... More

After reading some negative stories we gave this one a try after a reccomendation of some people we met on our way. I wished we've never done that! 1. The room was facing the highway, a lot of noise from the traffic. 2. Our food was stolen from the fridge twice, no action taken by the owners. 3. You have... More

I was in Tulum for a few days and had two friends who were staying at Lobo Inn and went there for a meal and to hang out a couple of times. They did complain that the rooms were dirty but it had a great atmosphere which to me is more important when I am travelling. I went on a... More
