Accommodations: Our Junior Suite Deluxe was a well kept, air-conditioned room with multiple amenities. The bathroom was clean and up to date. Pros: surprisingly comfortable bed; ample room and drawer space, and private terrace. Cons: in-room coffee is very poor; minimal amenities (no tissue paper). Tip: convince the fridge stocker to swap out the sodas for more beer, which they'll... More

Stayed at Grand Sunset Princess in Mayan May 5-12th, stayed in room 2139 facing activity pool (party pool area) and it was awesome. Food was amazing, loved the fondu a la carte the best! Their is a bit of walking from the beach to the front part of the lobby, but really who cares, you have to do some walking!!!!... More

Do not believe all the negative reviews. We upgraded to Platinum and had the best time!!! It is worth the few extra $$$$. The room was great and clean with an outside shower. You had your own private pool area and the service was terrific. We traveled with family and also with friends. People need to realize that vacations are... More

I am a middle class guy from GA. who travels at least once a year to an all inclusive resorts or cruise. I understand with all inclusive that everything will not be what you expect. My wife an I booked the platinum room, flight, travel, and the Chichen Itzu excursion through Bookit. The booking process was easy enough. Our flight... More

This is by far the nicest resort I've ever stayed in. 6 a la carte restaurants, 24 hour sports bar, lots and lots of pools ( private if you want). the jacuzzi suites are awesome, air conditioners are definetly working. The only negative with the resort is its distance from playa del Carmen, it is a 20$ can ride each... More

I stayed with my husband, and 2 kids(aged 4 and 18 months) from may 4 to 11. We had an amazing time at the Sunset Princess. Restaurants - food was pretty good overall, breakfast had great smoothies, omelette station, and you had the opportunity to make reservations at their a la carte restaurants everyday, our favs were La Fondue, Teppanyaki,... My husband and I just returned from our third trip to the Princess. Everything was amazing, as it has been each visit. We had amazing service from Yara, Tomas, and Collie. The buffet was a bit worse this year, but the themed restaurants and room service was great. I cannot say enough about this resort, the staff, and the city... More

We travelled for two weeks in April 2012. We stayed in the Yucatan Princess section and had a swim–up room. For the price we paid and size of the resort, I give it a 5 star experience; however, there were small things that wouldn’t compare to more expensive or smaller resorts. I will try to cover some of the less... More

I want to start by saying my husband and i have been to a all inclusives in mexico and cuba a few times before. We r a couple that likes luxury but also understand that a 5 star in mexico is not the same as a 5 star in canada or usa. We r not a picky couple but do... More

The hotel/resort in itself is a beautiful structure, with nice gardens, pools etc... Walking around in the hotel alone feels like you are walking in a small village. Golf carts with drivers are available to take you from point A to point B. Staff is extemely friendly and helpful, whether it is the reception or the room service. For the... More
