To be brief, the photos make this hotel look charming and when you first arrive the small lobby and garden area look inviting. The rooms are very small, dark, dingy feeling. The air cond. is a unit not central air, loud and inconsistant air (i.e. on or off, too cold or not cold enough). The bathroom was a complete nightmare.... More

Hotel is a block and a half from beach. There was no "beach view". My room was relatively cheap ($90.00/night) but even so was very small (like twice the size of a walk-in closet), There are better hotels for the same, or lower cost nearby.

Do not really understand the positive reviews. The rooms were dark and shabby and there was a leakage in the bathroom. This hotel needs a major make over! The hotel is very noisy and it was really difficult to sleep. The staff luckily is friendly a keeps on smiling. This should not have gotten a traveler award from Trip Advisor

Location could not be better - close to the beach and action is around the corner. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall great experience ; little extra cleanliness and maintenance/updates would raise it to superb....Would recommend in a heartbeat!

room was exceptionally small and poorly appointed. i got a really bad dealn and i should have looked just a little harder. the people were really nice but times have past this hotel by and appears that the only updating is cosmetic. very good wifi, though. not even a good $50 deal.
