This hostel is within the square of Zocalo itself. It's a beautiful old house that's just magnificent! Spacious loungy areas, good wifi, friendly managers, phone & travel agent service downstairs. The best thing about this place has got to be the huge breakfast that comes with the price! Would stay there again in a heartbeat! More

....I arrived 5 AM in this hostel and the lovely man ( I forgot his name I'm afraid, he was also the cook) who received me was very helpful and considerate. I booked for two nights in a dorm room but decided to upgrade to a private room so as not to disturb the other occupants in the room and... More

A beautiful hostel, clean, friendly staff and an amazing free breakfast in the morning. The price is slightly more than we have been paying at other hostels but the breakfast spread in the morning makes up for it. Great wi-fi signal and hot water! I would definitely reccomend it! More

I can only endorse what others have said. This is a friendly, warm hearted place to stay. The breakfast is worth the room hire alone. The staff are friendly, always smile. The rooms are clean, the water is hot, what more could a traveller want! Can I also recommend their other hotel, in Progresso??? Slightly out of town, will take... More

After making a reservation for 3 nights (with a deposit) I hoped to arrive in Merida during the holiday season, with a place to stay. Unfortunately, the greedy owner/staff rented that room out before we arrived, and tried to collect payment from both parties. The girl at the front desk was rude, and basically said too bad. She said that... More

This is the only accomadation that actually is on and overlooks the main square. I've been hosteling for 24 years, and have never enjoyed such a wonderful breakfast(incl.). You can actually have crepes and omlettes made to order, along with bowls full of fresh fruit and bread, fresh from the bakery daily. The guy's running this place are very friendly... More

Stayed for a night in a double private room with shared bathroom. The hostel is right in the town square and the building and interior patio are nice. It is still a hostel so don't over expect. It lacks the pool that Nomadas has but makes up in the good service you get in comparison to Nomadas. The breakfast is... More

We stayed two nights in this Hostal. It was located in the centre of Mérida and the guys managing the hostal are very friendly. We slept in a tiny private double room next to the laundry downstairs. It was dirty, hot and noisy. But the worst were the thousand of bedbugs that ate us at night...The bathrooms were very dirty... More
