Ixchel was awesome! Very nice accommodations, nicely appointed kitchen, lots of room, best hotel shower EVER, comfy bed, expansive balcony, lovely view, friendly staff, within walking distance of almost everything. We stayed in the 1st building on the ground floor with an enormous patio and direct access to the pool and beach. Ixchel hotel is right on the North beach of Isla Mujeres, and sits at the end of the main tourist drag Avenida Hidalgo.
