We had a great time on our recent vacation to Cozumel at the Fiesta Americana. The location was great for access to town and to numerous beach clubs. The rooms were spotless and spacious. We were given a bottle of water everyday and coffee supplies for the coffee maker. We found the food very delicious. The food was fresh and... More

We were at the Fiesta Americana for 5 days, and had a great experience... Super helpful, friendly staff-- and the buffets/restaurants were surprisingly good. The rooms were very clean, and adequate (we were in the cheap, travelocity rooms)... If you are a diver, this is a great place. Any of the dive outfits on the island can pick you up... More

My boyfriend and I booked a four night stay through AAA for the first week of February. After factoring in the price of our flights we ended up paying about $50 per night for a Grand Class room. The room wasn't very "grand" but for the price it was great. The hotel could definitely use some updating but since we... More

Fiesta Americana was very relaxing and a lot of fun due to the staff and intermingling with other guests. I visited with a large group for a dive vacation the first week of February 2012. I wouldn't call the resort five star as I've stayed at some ritzy places. This is not one of those but it is very good... More

We were in the Fiesta Americana for one week. It's the perfect hotel for divers: just out of bed, through the breakfast area to the boats. Grab a towel on your way down and you are good to go. The hotel is clean, not noisy and in good shape. We were on the 2nd floor, no bugs or other kind... More

Stayed with another couple Jan27th for a week. Our room and view of the ocean were great. I cannot stress enough how good the service was at this resort.I was surprised how quiet it was here. I don't know if it is because alot of people here are divers and gone during the day and to bed early. Lots of... More

Spent a week at Fiesta Americana. Definitely exceeded my expectations. The diving was great. The food was much better than I anticipated; plentiful with lots of choices. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great view on the 6th floor overlooking the pool and sea. We had room 627. One thing missing is a fitness room, but we dived twice... More

Last January, my husband and I stayed at the Fiesta Americana for a week and had a terrible experience - from beginning, to end. Shortly after our review was posted on Travel Advisor, the General Manager at the resort reached out to us and offered to rectify the situation by offering us a 4day stay at the expense of the... We just returned a few days ago. The Fiesta met all our needs and then some. We are not overly picky travelers - Rooms don't have to be 5 star for us but rather comfortable and the Fiesta suits that need quite well. The food at the resort was good - never had a case travelers tummy at all -... More

On a combination pleasure/business trip to Cozumel last week, I happened to fly non-stop into Cancun (though there are direct flights to Cozumel) and took the shuttle to Playa del Carmen and the ferry to Cozumel (30 min. and great ferry ride). Although I only had a couple of days in Cozumel, it was easy to "cozy up" to the... More
