The rooms are outstanding, decorated with a "i'm in mexico" style. Sadly because I'm family I know what happened there but with my Grandma and John running the place on their own it makes the laundry and cleanliness alot more than what it is. I really enjoy the courage they would do when my mom got sick, also whenever they... More

For 50 pesos a night, you can camp next to a beautiful pool and an actual Mayan tomb, and youre within a comfortable walk to the Chichen Itza ruins. The place is covered with art, from frescoes on the cieling to sculptures in the yard. The place has kind of a 1960s feel, which is a fun mix with the... More

The location of Piramide Inn is good, that being walking distance to Chichin Itza, and not far from the town's main drag. That is probably where the positives end, for me... Our room was large, but not all that clean. In fact, the sheets smelled stale (as if they had already been slept in), and the shower was grimy. Put... More

There is camping here, just ask the front desk. Showers are cold, but it is a convenient place to stay of you are going to see the ruins.

It's a place to stay that is walking distance to the entrance of Chichen Itza, about 1.5km. The price is OK, 500 pesos per night for a double. The room condition is tolerable, could use a little care. The shower head could be original Mayan. However, it has air con, cable TV in the lobby and a barely serviceable Wi-Fi... More

About 5min away from the Chichen Itza ruins by taxi, this is a cheap option for staying overnight in the area. The room was very big and the AC worked well, however it was not the cleanest room and there was no internet. The town is extremely quiet (especially since we weren't there during the peak season), but there is... More

Like the town it is located in, Piramide Inn is a quiet and empty little place that seems to have once seen large numbers of tourists before Cancun took over the market. For a place that hardly gets visitors, I thought the facilities and grounds were well-maintained, especially their backyard garden. The three things I did not like were that... More

Hi, On our trip to the Yucatan summer '10 we had one of our must see stops as Chichen Itza. We found piramide inn via the internet and lonley planet guide book and from what we had read it seemed very nice. Their homepage was really nice and the pictures of the place looked great. Positives: The place was cheap... More

I booked the room via email with "Peter". Their website says they take credit cards. We got there and it was conveniently not working. Asked where Peter was and they never heard of him. The place felt like it was abandoned. The rooms were horrible. No TV, beds were like sleeping on springs, the bathrooms were all moldy and paint... More

This Chichen Itza Area Hotel is one of the most beautiful oasis near Chichen Itza. It is in walking distance of the new 7th wonder of the world. We decided that one of those one-day tours was overpriced and wasn't enough to see everything. Hotel Piramide Inn is competitively priced. We started by spending the evening, and ended up staying...
