Everything is a nightmare there. We made a bunch of reservations for a couple rooms in Nov, got the confirmation letter yet they said they didn't have that in their system. We very much apologize for the difficult situation that you endureded during the week that Cancun was overbooked. We had to put you in a beach villa that ended also with the heater broken. The sudden economic recovery with the high demand caught our reservation agents completely unprepared and we could not found a better solution for you. More

I stayed at the Mayafair for quite a while for business in Cancun. Overall, I wouldn't even give it "1" star because of all it flaws and shortcomings. I had to change rooms several times due to different reasons: a/a didn't work, internet didn't work, no hot water, no water at all, noise from the lobby etc. I could go... More
