Overall it is a very nice hotel "Taxco" style for an "ok" price. The lobby is welcoming, the hotel staff was very friendly and the location is perfect. One block from the main square with the Santa Prisca church, yet accessible with a bigger car! Beware that to some hotels you can't get with a minivan because of the narrow... More

Very friendly staff, coozy little hotel and probably good value for money because I think that the standard in general is a bit "lower" in Taxco as it is a bit older. But don't expect same standard as in Mexico city etc. Nice location, VERY beautiful city with excellent scenery. If you have the ability take a taxi (the offer... More

Just two blocks Downill from the main square. Pleasand and quiet. No restaueant on site but we were allowed to have that across the street in Los Arcos. Restaurant Sotavento. Very close to many silver outlets and one block from Casa Humboldt.

We stayed here for a business trip. The location is ideal for what we needed. The ambiance is lovely and the staff is very very helpful. The hotel has the true old Mexico feel to it. They are currently updating the bathrooms and showers. Lots of hot water and plenty of room. We recommend this hotel .

I stayed for two nights in this cute and affordable hotel. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, hotel staff friendly and efficient and the location couldn't be beat. The only downsides were the shower, which lacked a bit of pressure, and the ambient noise from the street below. But for $50 a night, I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed a few days in Hotel Emilia Castillo during the busiest week of the year, Semana Santa. We booked just a couple of days ahead via the Internet and arrived late (16.00). We were pleasantly received and with the key we got the WiFi password to a reasonably fast internet connection. Very convenient for two digital nomadz working online... More

I was prepared for the noise from the reviews and from having stayed in Guanajuato last year. The hill towns like Taxco are very noisy. Bring good earplugs. I chose a room on the street despite knowing it would be noisy, as it was bright. There are blackout curtains, so I slept very late in the morning! This room was... More

Although the staff are friendly , the noise in this hotel will get to you , it is expected in the rooms at the front because of the ceaseless traffic , so i chose a room at the back and noticed a constant hum , which apparently comes from a fan next door , it must be some fan as... More

Stayed for a weekend and after reading reviews here, I selected to stay here. It was a great choice, one of the best locations in Taxco. Rooms are clean, bathrooms could be better, but they are very clean. Downstairs has a small dining room, which is decorated in a very nice traditional and contemporary way. Breakfast was excellent, for only... More

We only stayed for one night, and it was just what we were looking for. The rooms are OK-priced for what they are, at 550 pesos for a queen bed. The room was clean with hot water. I don't know if the staff speaks much or any English, but I wouldn't let that deter anyone who only speaks English. If... More
