Excellent hotel with the spirit. Amazingly located with beautifull view on the hills of Taxco. Beautiful swimming pool area. Kitchen so, so. It is better to eat outside. Breakfast quite poor. But Location and place itself, arranged in the buildings ofold convent makes you stay there worth the money you spend on it.

Great hotel with great food. The beds were very confortable and the view from the terrace (which was enormous) had no comparison. Everything was fine. You should order a "mole de rosa" with a "bugambilia Boom" in the restaurant, also a Mezcal de Pechuga made in the house.

First impression was not so bad, because of view from the balcony! But then we realized that it was only good thing! Our room are very dated, has dirty sheets and blankets. We saw disgusting yellow spots on them, we even find a few short dark hairs and a few alive ants!!! It was the last thing, that killing us!... More

We were assured that our goods would be "safe" in the reception safe. Unfortuantely we were robbed of valuables by the staff. Stay away. The food and service is equally horrible. Loud music that lasted 24 hours. Front reception staff very rude. This hotel was a huge disappointment.

The key for us was that we were a wedding party group that negotiated the price (via our fluent in Spanish friend) in advance. It was $65 including breakfast, not the $150 that one reviewer says they were offered. My room had a fireplace and was roomy, clean and pleasant. The view of the spotlit church at night was extraordinary,... More

I've been told that this is a reasonably nice hotel. Unfortunately, I will likely never know. I was part of tour group of 27 people. We had written confirmation of our reservations and when we arrived, were told that our rooms had been let out with no warning, recourse or other explanation. If this hotel owner would do that to... Arriving at the hotel it looked old. But it is more old fashion, it takes you back in time. You'll feel at home straight away. The rooms are clean and big. With huge windows that provide you with an amazing view over the city. You can see the mountain where the city is build on. The pool is nice. Only... More

Don't be fooled by 82-year-old Benito Flores, who will greet you at the visitors center as you enter town and show his government ID. He is getting a commission off of this hotel. His interest is not in getting you the best hotel for the best price! My friend, fluent in Spanish and a 20-year resident of Mexico, tried to... More

We stayed here with our two children, aged 5 and 8, and had a lovely two day vacation. The pool is very nice, and the room we stayed in, number 236, was fantastic. Excellent views from everywhere; the sight of Taxco at night was utterly enchanting. The food at the main restaurant was surprisingly good; great steaks, and excellent salads.... More
