Excellent location, two blocks from the "Zocalo", nicely decorated rooms, pleasant service. The best feature is the restaurant where you find good dishes even during longer stays (we stayed four nights). Good value for the money.

During the second day of our stay in the hotel, an iPad went missing from our room. After searching thoroughly through the room we reported the incident to the management. Their first response was of incredulity implying that the misplacing of the ipad was entirely our responsibility. After asking to talk to the owner they told that he was unavailable...

The hotel has a perfect central ubication and, in general, has very good rooms, restaurant, common areas, etc. but the staff do not have the enough professionalism to run this place.
We stayed just for one night and it was enough to see some regular aspects about the place. At the end of our breakfast (including in our price), we...

Unbelievable value, the best food we had in Mexico. We came to Mexico every year at least twice per year. Chiapas is beautiful and Tierra y Cielo made it even better.

Tierra y Cielo is a small hotel with a very nice architectonical style. The restaurant has a big portion of the property and the rooms are located in the side next to the street. For this reason the cars and the street are not the best alternative for a quiet trip in the lovely and easy Chiapas. Anyhow overall the...

We arrived to Hotel Tierra y Cielo exhausted from our drive from Palenque. We were pleasantly welcomed to a nice room and extremely hospitable staff. My wife and I ate at the restaurant and enjoyed a superb meal, dessert and drinks. This is definitely one of the highlights from our trip thus far.

I stayed at the Tierra y Cielo for the 2011 Adventure Travel World Summit, and I cannot recommend this place enough. The chef makes the most amazing food, from breakfast til late night dinners the quality is top notch.
Rooms are great, clean, serviced every day, and my room had two huge beds, a desk, flatscreen tv, bathroom, and wi-fi....

San cristobal is a gorgeous authentic lively Mexican town well worth a days stopover. This hotel is beautiful - rooms are lovely, restaurant exceptional, friendly staff. I doubt there's anything better in the town. Only downside is a loud nightclub at the end of the road which filtered into the rooms a little.

As you enter the foyer, you're instantly pleased. The professionals at all levels, (desk, waitstaff, managers) are polite and helpful. They have a grace and friendliness to their service, and they bend over backwards to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The patios are bright and airy, and the restaurant menu is stuffed with local delicacies. The bedroom was spacious...
