We spent Thanksgiving week in Oaxaca at La Casa de mis Recuerdos. It was an absolutely delightful week.Conchita made us feel right at home. The breakfasts were tipical Oaxacan breakfasts. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.
Nora arranged tours for us and also went on the tours with us.She is a wealth of knowledge of the history and culture of Oaxaca. One of...

I immediately felt at home after being greeted by Conchita and.....on arrival. The Casa is beautiful, centrally located, clean and very tranquil. As many others have said the breakfasts are sensational, Comchita advised she had enough recipes to have something different for a fortnight!

We stayed in the Colibri room which is on the ground floor and separate from the main house. It has its own courtyard which is also open to the busy kitchen.
As we don't...

The breakfasts are a Oaxaca experience of their own. The family is friendly, helpful, and charming. We stayed in the Azul room for nearly two weeks during our recent stay. We...

It is a great summary of Oaxaca traditions thanks to arts, handcrafts and food that make this place so comfortble and original.

Rather than staying in a hotel my wife and I chose to seek out a small bed and breakfast near the city centre with hotel comforts and Oaxacan vibe. We were aprehensive about this as it was the first time we had taken this approach. We found what we had hoped for and heaps more at casa de mis recuerdos....
