Passed through Oaxaca twice recently about ten days apart, and stayed at the Hotel Aurora at a friend's insistence. Excellent advice and I'll gladly pass it along to anyone else. “Safe, Quiet, and Reasonably Priced”

I have stayed at many places in Oaxaca over the years and Hotel Aurora is one of my favorites. It's a family run hotel two blocks south of the zocolo. Rooms are immaculate and quiet.
