The rooms are clean and comfortable aside from the flat pillows. Staff is most gracious and helpful. There was extremely loud music across the ally a couple years ago but not anymore. Hotel is conveniently located to everything, price is under $20 for a double bed, private baths are nice and there is a phone and cable tv. The hotel... More

Hotel Juarez is a hotel that's a little off of the beaten path, but close enough to hop back into the action. It's located in an L-shaped alley off of 5 de Mayo. The bed was pretty comfortable, but to me the pillows were a bit thin. Overall, it's a very affordable hotel, $200 pesos (or more) per night, and... More

We stayed at Hotel Juarez January 29-February 3, 2010. The location is perfect - on a quiet side street in very close proximity to the Centro Historico and Zocalo. I had to travel to Mexico City in late January and a friend made the reservation for me. it is simple, safe, somewhat comfortable and right there in the Historic district. The room was OK, it did have a small window. All rooms surround a dark courtyard with an ancient fountain. it was a unique experience. There were people from... More

After kind of splurging in Campeche, I really wanted to be cheap in Mexico City. We read that Hotel Juarez was clean and cheap, and it's only about a block from the Mexico City Zocalo, so I thought that would be perfect. It mostly lived up to what we had read. We paid $25 for a double room. It was... More
