That was my fourth time in Hotel Lepanto. Actually, that's the only hotel in Mexico City where I have stayed (and paid for it from my own pocket). I first stayed there 5 yrs ago, on 3 separate occasions, and once just a week ago. It hasn't changed much. Again, I can confirm it's great. My experience 5 yrs ago... More

Although it has been a few years since I stayed at Lepanto (more than once), I had no problems. I was happy to have an economical place that provided clean rooms, a very good restaurant, and an interesting short walk to the historical center of the city. You will find history along the way. TripAdvisor is making me lie about... More

Our first indication should have been that it was the ONLY hotel that had available rooms on a Saturday at the last minute. Our taxi driver warned us not to leave the hotel at night, because the neighbourhood was not safe. We had booked a room with a jacuzzi, and had to change rooms when the room they gave us... More

I had a super time here at this clean and nicely priced hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds were good. I had no mosquito problems and slept well. Remember that this is a budget hotel and I think most people will agree it is good value. The only slight downside is that the helpful staff do not speak... More

The staff were very friendley but no one spoke english. The beds were so hard I took the cushions off the couch and put them on the bed. The rooms had no air conditioning or fans and were hot and stuffy during the day. There was only 1 small window to open. The room had no power outlets even the... More

Successfully booked by hotelclub.com I was pleasantly surprised by the room I got at the Lepanto hotel. To start with, it is not a very known hotel so the taxi driver had some troubles finding it, so you better know the complete address. The room was absolutely clean and so was the bathroom. The furniture and equipment looked quite new... More

I've stayed at the Lepanto twice, and was pleased both times. The location is super, two blocks from the metro, and walking distance to the Alameda and Belles Artes. While I am always a little jumpy in Mexico City, the street seemed safe. There is a nice store and pharmacy right next door to the hotel. The Lepanto is clean... More

One night I accidently ended up here on my way to Patzcuaro Michoacan. My plane from Juarez was delayed six hours and I was tired when I got in to Mexico City. I asked a family at the airport and they recommended the Lepanto, and even took me there. It is a newly remodeled hotel, and was excellant for the... More
