The location is excellent, Roma is a lovely neighbourhood and the hotel is on a green leafy square with plenty of cool restaurants and bars within walking distance. The area felt very safe to walk around at night. The hotel was nice, big rooms, basic bathroom and they have little kitchens which is nice too. The staff were lovely and... More

The location is excellent. Just in front of Plaza Luis Cabrera, one of the nicests spots of Colonia Roma. Unfortunately, not only the room was not spotless, they dont assign a hand towel per room even if you ask for it. Crazy? No, it is cheap. Also spare some extra money to pay super expensive parking lots, as the hotel... More

Clean, Simple but functional, had plates and cups, cutlery, refrigerator. Surrounded by one of the cities most beautiful areas, Colonia Roma, tourist friendly, starbucks in front. Good. They have no parking and that is kind of problematic, because the surrounding places are bar and restaurants and they are packed with people at night so there is no parking spaces.

I had stayed in the Zona Rosa and Condesa neighborhoods of the D.F. on previous trips. They were OK but...The Roma neighborhood sounded interesting. Something about the location of this small hotel beckoned. I am glad I succumbed. Casa de la Condesa is spotless. The staff friendly, helpful and eager to please. I stayed in a 3rd floor room with... Over all... a charming place. I am so glad I did not pay attention to the negative reviews. Either those people are always looking for something to nit pic or they expect perfection in all situations. Attendants were very helpful, rooms were very clean and I had an awesome view of the plaza out front. Always felt safe to walk... More

We booked online, because the pics looked good. But that was a big mistake! The room had no window and was all dark and very small (<10sqm). Only the bathroom had a small window but that was not enough. Unlike the typical mexican, the staff was unfriendly and offensive. We can not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was said to be newly restored. That is true ... they tried their best and it was okay ( not high class, but equipped with new stuff and in a nice way ). BUT the work on the restaurant was still going on .. it was so noisy that during the day it was better not to stay... More

The chemical smell of air freshener in our room was overwhelming. The lighting in the bedroom was so poor that it was impossible to do anything other than unpack bags by the light of 40 watt wall sconces. The beds were so hard, it was like sleeping on a concrete floor. Desk personnel in the evening were both efficient and... More

Unfriendly Staff. we booked tje hotel 6 months before we arrived and when we got there they told us there was no booking. After a couple of hours we finally got our room. I was a little nervous about turning up to this hotel as I had read one or two of the reviews on this site, but I don't know what the other reviewers were talking about!! We were picked up from the airport by a hotel car - no problems at all. Upon arriving we were put into a large room... More
