This is more than you expect coming from the busy street. Lovely building, good rooms, all with private terrace and no, no airconditioning but I think I remember a fan that we didn't need. The only thing I would recommend are softer beds, ours were really really hard. The staff was very nice and friendly. The included breakfast is not... More

OverallI found this hotel delightful--that was until i went to pack up and discovered that $200 I had hidden in my luggage in what I thought was a secure place had disappeared. Needless to say, when I brought this to the attention of the staff, the response was universal (most likely feigned) surprise, and of course, denial of any involvement.... More

I never got to stay at this hotel because I had to cancel a recent trip to Cuernavaca. But I wanted to comment on the professionalism, graciousness, and understanding on the part on the hotel staff particularly Vincente Gomez whom I had the pleasure of corresponding with on several occasions. My cancellation technically fell within the 48 hour window but... More

I stayed in this hotel when other plans fell through, and I thought it was lovely. The room was small but clean and pleasant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was good, on a quiet street an easy walk from the central square and shops. A friend of mine was staying with a host family in Cuernavaca,... More

After one night at this place, we escaped. What the other reviewers neglect to tell you is that Cuernavaca is a HOT city, yet these rooms have NO air conditioning. What is more, the "breakfast" consists of a few nasty sweet roles and cheap diluted coffee. Our room also smelled like a sewer -- not pleasant at all. These rooms... More

We spent 4 nights at this property in December. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was clean and pleasant. The courtyard area was attractive with lovely flowers which made the complimentary breakfast brought to our patio very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay in this quiet environment. More

This is a charming little hotel. When our taxi pulled up to it, I had my doubts, because although the façade is attractive, the street that it’s on doesn’t look like much – a lot of formal wear shops, some small convenience stores, the Estrella Roja terminal, etc. – but once inside, you’re in a different world. The flower-filled central... More

We were travelling on a budget, and initially thought this hotel was a little bit pricey. But it's worth every peso. (Just always divide by 10 USD.) The courtyard leads you to your little bungalow. Tucked in a corner of the property is a very small pool (probably appropriate for wading only). Some of the larger bungalows seem to be... More

We stayed 3 days at Hotel Antigua Posada. It is one of Cuernavaca's best kept secrets. Very close to the Centro and the main attractions in Cuernavaca. But the best part is the service. It was like staying with our family. The service was warm and personal. We were treated like we were the only ones in the hotel. Everyone... More

After our first hotel choice turned out to be a dud, our taxi driver recommended this hotel and he wasn't wrong. This small renovated hotel is 4 blocks from the zocalo. All the rooms surround a central patio and each of the 11 rooms has its own small patio. A continental breakfast (with good coffee), included in the cost, is... More
