This is our first trip to Puerto Vallarta. Mayan Palace in the Marina is great. The staff are very nice and helpful in everyway. The activities and entertainment are great. Chewy and Marianna are excellent in what they do. I did yoga and zumba everyday. Tuesday is beach party night and has excellent food, open bar, music and entertainment under... More

Everyone was so nice. The employees were very helpful and entertaining. The hotel would exchange money for you too. The location was perfect, in my opinion. We were a five minute cab ride from the main marina and maybe ten minutes from the boardwalk area. Cabs are at least 50-60 pesos per trip. The bus is 6.5 pesos. The bus... More

We are owners at the Mayan Palace in Puerto Vallarta and have owned here for a long time. We have seen a lot of changes over this time. When we bought, this was an up and coming resort. It is now a little dated and it seems that the organization is building strongly and heavily in Nuevo Vallarta (the now... More

We have stayed here before and come back because of its location. it is near the inner marina(about a block from the hotel) and near the downtown (usually about 10 minutes by city bus). We noticed that the crowds were way down both at the hotel and in the area. The time share sellers were more numerous and more aggressive... More

This was our first trip to PV.The mayan palace was smaller than the one in Riveria Maya. That was kinda of nice and personal.Everyone was very nice and helpful.Loved doing Yoga by the beach every morning. It was right by the Marina so there was lots of places to eat.If you needed a bus it was right out front with a little... This was our second time at Puerto Vallarta and first time at the Mayan Palace. We like staying in Puerta Vallarta not Neuevo Vallarta as it is farther away from the Marina District and Old Vallarta. The Mayan was very comfortable, clean, nice pools and different activities throughout the day. We took advantage of the restaurants at the Marina, this... More

Our first trip to PV, and this resort was great! Several pools and a beach. The food at the restaurants was the best, better than any outside. Drawbacks - no kiddie pools or amenities, and no hot tub. That would have been nice on the cool nights. Also balconies exist, but too narrow to sit on. The staff is great... More

Nice place but as it approaches its life span, Mayan trying to move you to its newer properties in Nuevo Vallarta. Mayan Palace Vallarta is in the Marina District and that is a huge plus. Closer to Old Vallarta and the Marina District is great for the variety of restaurants. Mayan property sellers are pretty high pressure. The property (... More

This was the second time we traded in our RCI points for a weeks vacation at the Mayan Palace and we were not disappointed. Even though our room faced the Marina, we did not mind the view as the staff are impeccable in maintaining the grounds and pool areas;mwe did not spend much time in the room at all. Many... More
