Very personable staff, great location, especially en route to elsewhere. Bedrooms basic, restaurant on the beach and in a great location. Would recommend not arranging drivers ahead of time as local taxis interested in your business and will bargain for your transportation needs. This large hotel is located at the northern tip of the stunning malecon. The beach is directly in front of the hotel. The large pool with lounging chairs and umbrellas is very inviting. I have been to PV 7 times and each time I have stayed at Hotel Rosita. I love the atmosphere, convenience of being right downtown, the staff is friendly and helpful, and I can not imagine staying anywhere else. The location is in fact ideal near the "malecón" and downtown Puerto Vallarta. But just the location isn't everything...
