Spent spring break at Torres. It was truly relaxing and just what we needed. My wife and I spent the whole week just relaxing in the lounge chairs and eating at the restaurant. The prices were reasonable and we ate well. We booked a trip to downtown and an all day fishing trip. We brought the fish back and had... More

We have been coming here for the last 20 years but will reconsider next time. Seems to be some staff burnout, and property is in need of some maintenance. Penthouses need to be refurbished.Half the appliances did not work. Management would have large outside pool parties that encompassed the whole resort. New Smoking policy very restrictive. They hide you over... More

Just returned from another wonderful week in Mazatlan... why cant we all be retired and winter there? Anyways... this was our first stay at Torres. I have to agree with the others on friendliness of the staff and beautifullness of the grounds! My parents own at Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay as well but we will pick Torres over that any... More

What a fabulous resort! Everyone is so friendly, rooms are comfortable. Yes the beds were a bit hard, but my back did not hurt the whole time I was there. I'm thinking I need a firmer mattress at home :) Food is fabulous! We loved anything made with shrimp, and loved the Marlin Tacos! And boy do these Mexicans know... More

How often do you have the opportunity to stay in a condo on the beach? Well hello, don't miss this opportunity to enjoy an intimate resort with spacious accomodations! We and our adult kids & grandkids love it here, and have visited numerous times. In fact, after our grandkids returned from Disneyland (ages 6 & 8) they were sharing how... More

Used our RCI Points and got a room in the C building. Huge room with all you need for a week stay. Big fridge, stove, microwave and bathroom. Bed is opposite the ocean view but that is ok. As stated beds are really hard. Didn't really cause a problem. Our view was limited by the overgrown trees outside our balcony.... More

We spent time at the Torres in February. We have friends that are owners and that have been coming for years. We generally stay at much larger properties and were very pleased with the Torres. It is small and the service is outstanding. There is ample security and you are right on the beach. We usually eat out more but... More

For all of you that are fearful of Mexico.....forgettaboutit! Torres is our choice. The hotel is a classic with big rooms, great hospitality and a caring and friendly staff. Many of the staff members have been working there for over 20 years. We travel on the public bus, go where we want and feel no more "unsafe" than being in... More

I think this resort would be great for folks who are traveling with children and are not interested in experiencing Mexican culture. For us, we weren't terribly impressed. There were some annoying things, like the fact that you had to "rent" the lock box in your room for a nominal fee, that fact that there are no shower curtains (I... More

For a true Mexican flavor this is an excellent choice for couples and families. We spoke to many other guests and found all were return visitors some for many years. Facilities all you need, nice beach and pool. Some reviews talk about hard beds, I have a bad back and found them to be great for a good nights sleep.... More
