Wish I wouldve listened to what everyone said. I was seriously hoping that the others were right about it not being that bad. I booked through rci and called them the first day and made them move me and my family to a new place. Furniture was just old it was very worn and dirty. I didn't want to sit... More

My husband and I have stayed at Balboa Towers for the last 6 years and love it! You couldn't ask for a better location, the staff is wonderful and the price is right! They are making great progress on the remodeling which is to be done by December. Counting the days will we return! More

Me and my husband went to Mazatlan in November and stayed at the Balboa Towers, he had gotten a recommendation from some friends who used to go there when they were younger and seemed to enjoyed it a lot. I agree with the other users commenting about the lobby being dark, elevators too small and slow, pools are cold....but let... More

THis hotel is going to be the place for Spring Break 2011, All three student tour companies are putting all their customers in the hotel to take it over. This will be party central this year. Great Location, huge 2 bedrooms and sweet drink specials during the day.. Photos will be uploaded shortly More

With another couple we acquired our reservations thru RCI several months ago for a 7 day stay. As time went on we keep reading reviews (neg) about the hotel. So, on our driving trip to Mazatlan we had concerns about staying in the BT and made jokes about what we should do. Upon arrival, we checked in an were overly... More

We booked this hotel online through RCI. They had it rated at 3 crowns, so we felt it would be ok, even though we were reading about the condition of the place, we decided we could put up with an older hotel, since we intended to spend our time outside. From the moment we walked into the lobby, until we... More

Ok, I'll admit, the room was definately outdated...however, my idea of a vacation involves spending as little time in the room as possible!! It was very clean, the AC worked and the shower ran hot water, what more could we need? We had the best service at the pool area and the beach area! Never had to wait for beachside... More

I stayed at the Mazatlan Balboa Towers this spring for three weeks. , I found the room old and stale, the drapes hung down in places and wouldn't close properly, the kitchenette had few necessities, I ended up buying a small fry pan, dish pan, dish cloths, soap, scrubber, and a kettle. the bathroom was spacious, however the water for...
