I stayed at the Playa Suites in Febraury 2007 and it was an absolute disgrace. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AND ALL OF MEXICO IN GENERAL. The good weather is not worth the risk of getting KILLED! Just returned from a one week stay. Hotel is in dire need of upgrading and repair. Mold and mildew common. Suites have small fridge, a sink but no microwave. There is a shortage of wash cloths. We enjoyed the aspect of spring break, because it was a place to pass out. The toilet overflowed, the shower curtain fell, and the ceiling in the hallway fell down! It wasn't the best hotel, but it made for some awesome stories! More
