Decided to change Hotels for a night with the special plan of getting engaged. Went to visit there in the afternoon for to make a dinner reservation. The Manager was a t the desk and asked if he could show a room after I told him of the engagement plans. I was very impressed and upon viewing made the decision... More

We came here for a couple of days after spending some time travelling around Mexico. The hotel was dead, we were the only guests apart from a German couple. The room was not very clean but then this is the case with most hotels in Mexico but the room was alright size wise and the balcony had such a great... More

This a great old-fashion and attractive hotel with an absolutely stunning location. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. We stayed late at the restaurant because of its lovely view and good food (Thursday is posole night). We had a flat tire and so Manuel, who works at the front desk, got one of his workers... More

I stayed here for the second time in March 2011. The only other hotel in Acapulco I have visited is on the bay, which is a different experience. I think at this point, Hotel Los Flamingos will be my hotel of choice going forward. We used it as a base for a guys trip. While the hotel could use updating,... More

I love a good dive hotel as much as the next person, but I expect the bill to reflect the reality of the experience. Los Flamingos is definitely a dive hotel - very run down rooms, outdated and poorly functioning bathrooms, cheap beds, questionable linen - the whole nine yards. But the price is that of a medium quality hotel... More

I stayed at Los Flamingos for two nights in May, for the sole reason of its glamorous history, but knowing that it was 'past its best'. What I didn't expect was to find a dirty, grotty and shabby dump, which is what it is. The room looked like it was from the 1950's, and I don't mean that in a... More

We spent a couple of days in this hotel which has a nice pool and nice atmosphere. Lots of pictures of film stars that spent time here. Nice sea view, you can hear the waves from the sea. The official price list was a lot more expensive than what we had to pay in the end. You can hear the... More

I wanted to like this hotel alot. I thought I would love it. Unfortunately I left Hotel Los Flamingos feeling a bit saddened. I didn't expect much by means of comforts of the room. I knew the price of $65 a night wouldn't get me luxury, but I atleast expected a room that felt clean, one that I could relax... More

I enjoyed the hotel and staff like always. For me its the best place around. The food, views, pool, staff are all so very wonderful. I know that this place is not for everyone. But it has so much charm, that it surpasses the hotels short comings. I don't want to stay anywhere else. I have in the past and... More

We were taken to the historical hotel Los Flamingos by our favorite cabbie because he toted it as the best place to watch the sunset in Acapulco and he definitely delivered! This hotel is full of history including the Tarzan house where Johnny Weissmuller vacationed with his fellow Hollywood stars. You can even rent out the Tarazan house for $100/night... More
