While Culiacan might not be a great place to visit, if you happen to be here this is a great place to stay. Clean and gated facility. Rooms are large and comfortable. Very nice dining options within the hotel or just outside of it. Staff was courteous and English ready as well.

Lucerna is overall GREAT hotel with large well decorated rooms and a beautiful garden/pool area in the back. It is very centrally located. However Culiacan is not a pretty city to visit, so unless you have to go, don't go. PS: There was a great sea food restaurant just in front of the hotel (a little bit to the left).... More

I went to Culiacan with a elderly neighbor who was going there for Chemo therapy. We stayed at the Lucerna. Everything was wonderful. The beds are very comfortable.
