The Sicomoro was a pleasant surprise after a long bus ride. The rooms are modern and clean. The bathroom rates a 5 star. Staff is helpful. Dinner in the restaurant varied from ok to excellent depending on your choice but fast food restaurants predominate in this area so there was nothing better to walk to. Not in downtown but next... The Hotel Sicomoro ( Sycamore ) is a very good place to stay at while visiting this wonderful City. It is the unofficial Hotel for the Chihuahua Cattleman´s Association, the Union Ganadera de Chihuahua. It is located a little way outside of downtown, but very close to many good restaurants and attractions. The rooms are very clean and priced good... More

I stayed at Sicomoro for two nights while on a business trip. The two nights were not consecutive, so I got two different rooms. This hotel is an older property where the rooms do not appear to have been renovated for a long time. Neither room I got was sufficiently clean (hair, dust, and lint were everywhere). The carpets had... More

We stayed in this hotel 1 night and did not get any sleep. We ended up on the second floor with really loud and heavy smokers next to us. It didnt quiet down until about 2:30 am. There were people coming in and out constantly, noise in the halls. It does require a makeover and better lighting at night. Breakfast... More

I travel to Chihuahua fairly often and tried the Sicomoro for the first time. It's cheaper than the some of the run-down, but more expensive, hotels near the city center. It's only 6-7 minutes to the plaza by car, though. The room amenties are above average, the resturant has a bland atmosphere but good food, and there is little outside... More

Having lived in Chihuahua, Mexico and being very familiar with the hotel from my stays there, I can definitely agree that the place needs to be redecorated and modernized. They have a very good business center with more than average computers hooked up and they are all for free. The staff are very friendly and accomodating, and they have a... More

This Hotel is positivley NOT a 5 star property. Everthing was clean and neat, but oh so old. Felt like we were in trapped in the 80s. Bussiness Centre not completed. Rates are over the top for the service you get. It wasn't bad, but it was n't good. I will go back, if ever in Chihuahua again. More
