Mike and Gus are two of the most hospitable people I've ever met - they make you feel like family members! They actually invited us to have dinner with them one night. They were eager to answer any of our questions and make sure we had the ultimate Loreto experience. They also helped hook us up with a cheap boat... More

This place, like some things in life : ) , keeps getting better with repetition. Gus & Mike are always great, and they just opened a new Bar, which gives you a generously mixed drink included with the room price. Plus, if you are kayaking in the area, and carry a lot of gear, the place is roomy and convenient... More

We decided very last minute to spend the weekend in Loreto and were looking for an affordable place to stay. We found ourselves in Coyote Village, and we couldn't have been happier. Our stay was amazing!! Mike and Gus were so helpful and so wonderful. They immediately welcomed us and made us feel so at home. The hostel they have... More

Mike and Gus run an upscale hostel that has become more popular as time goes on. However the real GEM is their small fully licensed bar that they operate from 6 PM until Midnight Thursday through Saturday. For myself and a large number of the local residents, it is a refreshing addition to the attractions of Loreto. They provide lots... More

I needed a good rest, and I found peace, great service and hospitality, really good food, and truly great wine. I recommend this place wholehartedly. Charming, pretty to look at, cool, quiet... and the hosts are great. More

I took the bus from La Paz and wanted to find an affordable place in Loreto. I figured a hostel would be fine for a couple of days. I was blown away when I got to Coyote Village and that it was actually considered a "hostel". I have only stayed at a few hostels, but I know that this place... More

I stayed here a few weeks ago while driving up the peninsula. It's a great place run by Mike & Gus and a couple employees. They made me a very filling breakfast (scrambled eggs, yogurt, toast, coffee, orange juice, etc.) every morning which I really appreciated, and at night they open a bar on the property and offer guests one... I was referred by a friend to stay with Mike and Gus. I only had one night in Loretto and they made sure i felt at home and above all enjoyed myself. I stayed in one of the upper balcony rooms, clean, beautiful and quiet. They have a bar downstairs where I enjoyed Mike's special drink and met some locals.... More

A friend of I made a road trip from San Diego, CA to Cabo San Lucas and made an overnight stop in Loreto. An American couple who live part time in Loreto suggested Coyote Village. Wow, what a wonderful, fun surprise! Located on a residential street away from the main streets of town we found it hidden behind a tall... More

Although I have seen more than 150 hostels worldwide, Coyote Village B&B and Hostels belongs to the top 10 of all. Why? 1. Mike and Gustavo, the owners of Coyote Village, serve a breakfast, no hostel traveller has ever seen (check out the picture). 2. They give you one hour of open bar at their premises so that you can... More
