My wife and I stayed at the Lymm Hotel for four nights whilst attending an AGM and conference at the Hotel. Overall, the hotel offered very good value for money, at the rates negotiated by our conference organiser.. The food was freshly cooked and well presented - though there was a notable absence of green vegetables. Our room in the... More

my wife and I together with her brother and his wife were visiting family in lymm, so we booked into the lymm hotel for three nights on a room only basis, and I must say we were delighted with our stay there, the rooms were very warm and spotlessly clean, the white bed linen had that just washed smell and... I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a coach trip to Cheshire. The room in the main part of the hotel was adquately sized but in very poor repair with damp stains down one wall and loose wallpaper. The bathroom was also stained, the bath panel was rotting and there were dangerously broken, sharp edged tiles on the... More

We held our wedding reception at the Lymm hotel and had a fabulous day. Philip and Michael were always on hand and nothing was too much trouble. Staff at the hotel were polite and helpful. The wedding breakfast was delicious, piping hot and the service was very efficient. The evening buffet was delicious and plentiful and our sweety buffet was... More

Stayed here on business, the staff are extreemly helpful and friendly, the food from the breakfast, which is a help yourself buffet style with a range of fruits, juices, cereals, pastries, cold meats and cheeses and cooked breakfast in chafing dishes, througn to the sandwiches we had at lunch through to the evening meal were all of a high quality.... I expect a reasonable standard from a MacDonald hotel and this was why we chose it. It was a only a single night's stay and we only used the restaurant for breakfast which was perfectly adequate with plenty of choice. With it being an old building you expect some imperfections, but the room and the bed were both clean and... More

Only a one night stay as part of a coach tour, but this is a nice place for a short stop-over. The rooms - although a little dated (green bath!) - is comfortable and the service and food are both fine. The location is good being in a pretty little village but very close to the M6

I stayed here for a one night business trip. We had a large meeting and dinner in the hotel. The hotel is dated, but I got a room in the old part of the hotel, which based on everyone's comments was better than the new part. The gal working the desk was fairly horrible. She was on the phone the... More

Last week was my son's wedding. He had booked a wedding package, and a number of family and guests stayed overnight. From the moment we arrived the staff were pleasant and helpful coming outside with Buck's Fizz whilst photo's were being taken. The dining room was well set out and a very comfortable size for our party of 60 people.... More

Stayed here for Aintree as part of the Kavanagh group and it was poor to be honest. In one of the drawers, there was a pair of dirty socks from the previous guests. We didn't complain as frankly we didn't care. For any hotel that is unacceptable. As we stayed 2 nights, they tidied our room and left their cleaning... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I am very sorry to hear about the housekeeping hiccups that you experienced during your stay. It undoubtedly was a busy weekend, reason for which I suspect that you found it difficult to attract the attention of the waiting-on staff. It was a great weekend for all the team here and we really... More
