We've stayed here twice now, and will certainly be back again. Tranquil location, beautiful rooms, lovely breakfast and the most welcoming owners you can imagine. More

We stayed at Billerwell Farm B&B on June 5th as we were approaching the end of our 12 day trip through Scotland. We just scratch the surface on what to see in the Borders and we plan to return and when we do return we will stay at Billerwell Farms. It is an old farm house that has been turned... More

We feel so fortunate to have experienced Billerwell in The Borders. Marion couldn't have been more accommodating, providing us with detailed itineraries of our daily touring preferences, and loaning us Ling for a splendid walk up Rubislaw. Marion and Richard also provided us with dining tips that were quite helpful. This B&B is quite set up for all sorts of... More

I am not easy to giving 5 star reviews. However, Marion and the bed + Goose Down duvet and pillows swayed me. Oh yes and being met by a Black Lab wagging her tail. The breakfast was excellent and despite the weather we loved the Farm location and the area. Melrose is a peach as is Jedburugh. Dissapointing was the... More

Thanks you so much for your fantastic compliments - so glad you enjoyed your stay! We're really sorry that the breakfast seating wasn't to your liking. After several years at Billerwell we have found that most guests like to sit 'farmhouse' style and meet other guests, admire the views and exchange experiences at breakfast. However, we realise this doesn't suit... More

The Hawick Information Centre did a wonderful job of locating some accommodation for us late one afternoon. We are not usually B&B type-people, but we thoroughly enjoyed our farmhouse stay at “Billerwell Farm” which is a working farm just outside of Bonchester Bridge and about 12kms from Hawick. We left Hawick around 5pm and headed to the B&B using a... More

I have to say, I am embarassed by the sheer extent to which we as a family have not considered the Borders in the South of Scotland as an option for a short break, en route many a time up to Edinburgh. This farm cottage was a real find, a very well kept secret. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there... More

Our room was large and well appointed, the welcome warm and friendly (from owner and dog!) and the ample breakfasts set us up for the day. But the standout feature is the location: secreted down quiet country lanes, tucked below the hill and overlooking (and accessing) a pretty wooded river valley. So good that lots of birds take up residence... More
