Visited the Cambrian Inn whilst on business for lunch. Staff were friendly and the food was very nice, with reasonable prices. My only issue was the meal that I ordered was missing a key ingredient, and it was only when my plate was delivered that I was told that "they had run out". I should have been advised of this... Booked in for dinner at 6.45. We had a distance to travel and arrived a little early.we were surprised to be told that we could have a drink but we wouldn't be given the menus till 6.45.??? Never has that happened before. I was obviously expecting more than pub grub, but the majority of the meals were fish n chips... More

We have always seen this as a traditional pub in the idyllic coastal village, until we were encouraged to ‘try it’ by Margo Evans [Lochmeyler Farm Guest House] in April. At that time, our host was extremely apologetic for a number of minor short comings which to be honest did not detract on our enjoyable experience. The menu did appear... More

The tiny village of Solva is a real gem of a place.A winding street of characterful houses in a beautiful wooded valley setting, some interesting shops and galleries and a pretty harbour made for a lovely stay. The Cambrian Inn is minutes from the harbour with parking directly outside and is a restaurant with rooms rather than a pub.Chic and stylish... Room quite small but everything you need for a short stay. Food very good with excellent portions and all homemade. Would definitely return.

We were smitten with the Cambrian as soon as we walked in and received a lovely welcome from Jason. This is a lovely refurbished food-led inn with 3 letting rooms. We were in room 3 which was spacious and well appointed with an en suite shower room with wc. The only slight drawback was the entrance to the en suite... More

What a wonderful stay! We found the room, restaurant and staff charming. The quality compared to other B & B was outstanding. I would encourage you to eat at the restaurant as the food is excellent and the presentation even better. Very kind attentetive staff, who have time to talk and se to individual needs.

Arrived at the cambrian and were totally ignored by the female staff member, we have stayed here before and did'nt recognise the staff, when we found out that the accomodation was now £80 we decided to go somewhere else as the first impression was not at all good, not welcoming, very dissapointed.
