A lovely, friendly and informal atmosphere with beautifully cooked huge portions of food . Have been many times and have never been disappointed . We didn't stay in the hotel but our relatives loved their family room when they did .

Revisiting the Greyhound on the Wales v England was a truly lovely experience. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming and the food was excellent. The menu was good and all 8 members of our group were pleased with their choices of food. The steaks, fish and veggie dish were excellent! A relaxing and enjoyable experience due to the high...

This hotel had the typical coffee/tea tray in the room. The bathroom was cramped but managable. But all rooms were in a separate stone building away from the noise of the popular pub/restaurent. They were also some distance from the very quiet B road. They were right next to an A divided highway, which I didn't notice until the second...

We stayed at the Greyhound last weekend September 22nd owing to my niece's wedding where the wedding breakfast was held in the barn across the road. The accommodation and food was top quality and whilst I have passed the Inn many times it was the first time I had stayed there. Very welcoming staff and made us feel at home....

My wife and I visited the Greyhound Inn recently for the first time in several years. It was just as good as we remembered. The barn conversion bedroom was very comfortable and excellent value. The staff are friendly and efficient. The restaurant serves interesting traditional meals without the pretensions common elsewhere.
WE arrived mid afternnonn and were greeted very warmly and helped with information about the surrounding sights. Pre dinner drinks in the lounge were great and the owner personally took our orders for dinner in the lounge without us having to leave our seats -great service!! We stayed mid week , but the dining room was still very busy with...

We have just come back from our second stay at the Greyhound Inn. It is a couple of miles outside Usk which is a real hidden gem of a little town. The hotel is right by the A449 and to be honest you can hear the traffic but it never caused us a problem, we slept like logs! We wanted...

The room itself was the same as many hotels I,ve stayed in, one fault was the bed which was small and not very comfortable, that was made up for by the breakfast which was superb.

The Greyhound Inn is a lovely country pub with a separate building housing the accomodation. The rooms are simple but nice and the pub itself is very popular with locals, serving good food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere. We found the owner to be really friendly and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was great and made the...
