My husband and I just returned from camping 2 nights at Cinnamon. We live on St Thomas, so we were able to rent one of the bare sights and bring our own tent. At $32 a night you absolutely can't beat it. It was very quite (Carnival week on St Thomas and no cruise ships in the Thursday-Saturday we were... More

The Good: This beach is Beautiful, you can rent a kayak and go to some great snorkling spots (we saw turtles, rays, ect.) The Bad: overpriced ($135 for 4 walls, and a cot), the bugs were out of control! We looked like we had measels after the first night, even with bug spray! Not highly recommended unless your no a... Super close to the beach. We could hear the waves crashing all night. It was very clean, and all the other "guests/campers" were very friendly. The location was really fantastic. Our villa had a propane grill out on the patio. We also were provided with dishes, blankets/sheets and our room had a fan. The showers and bathrooms were beautifully clean.... More

My wife and I just returned from a 5 night stay at Cinnamon Bay Campground. We've camped there 7 times, and we bring our own tent, utensiles, linens, inflatable bed, etc.. Cinnamon Bay is a beautiful beach and we've enjoyed the peace, quiet and beauty of both the beach and campground on our 6 previous stays. This one, however, is... More

Definitely recommend staying her for people who want to enjoy the Virgin Islands without crowds. Our cottage was right on the beach. Everyday I woke up, ate breakfast, and went snorkeling at the coral reef that was about a hundred yards from my cottage. This is not a resort. It's a campground, so expect a campground experience. We did have... More

Gertrude in the office is as much an asset to the campground as the park is to St.John! Thank you for the awesome time! The Tree Lizard resturant always did us well. The bathrooms off the main path were much cleaner because it was mostly campers using them rather than the visitors to the beach. I gotta say I didn't... More

This was our 4th trip to St. John and the 3rd time at Cinnamon Bay CAMPGROUND. "Resort" is not in the name, nor is it one. Our two college kids plus the two of us stayed in the #4 "cottage" for three nights. We reserved just a few weeks prior so we were happy to get a spot, although we've... More

We just returned from an 11 day stay at Cinnamon Bay. It was the worst US National Park that we ever stayed in. To begin with, the reservation system was so poor that we could not stay in one cabin for the entire stay and we did not know when/if we would be moved . We were told when we... More

We brought a tent and some rum and rented a bare site for 30us. Best value on saint John. It's basically camping, cold showers, Mosquitos and such, but it's 30 bucks and St. John rocks. They don't supply cooking utensils for bare sites so plan accordingly, the general store sucks so shop in Cruz bay and hitchhike back, and avoid... More

We had a great time staying in the cottages at Cinnamon Bay. As others have noted it is a campground, and the cottages have no bathroom or kitchen although they do come with a coleman propane stove. The staff at the campground, as well as at the beach rental shop, were super nice. The camp store was not always well... More
