We spent a week at Sailview to celebrate our honeymoon. Words cannot express our gratitude for the hospitality of Eileen & Mike. First, When we arrived to St. Thomas and there was a tropical storm passing through so the ferrys were shut down. Eileen call all around to find us another B&B. Once the storm passed, she guided us to... More

Great value, perfect location & wonderful hosts. Frig stocked with a variety of things. No need to run to Lillys or Starfish Market. Super clean, comfortable and cozy. Mike and Eileen were the perfect hosts. Sail View could become our "home away from home". Kathleen and Matthew Sycamore,IL

From the time we first met Mike at the ferry dock until we said good bye a week later, we felt like we had been staying with old friends. Mike and Eileen provided us with unmatched hospitality. The welcome snacks and the stocked fridge is a super nice touch. Eileen bakes her own cookies and banana bread, the best we've... More

We spent 3 nights last week at Sailview. Mike & Eileen are gratious hosts and the views are fab. We ate out twice, but our last night we frilled on the deck and had a very lovely private dinner. Coral Bay is great, Skinny Legs is a blast, and Donkey Diner has great pizza and breaky!! We will be back!

We've had excellent time at Sailview in November 2011. Eileen and Mike were very hospitable and couldn't have been more helpful and attentive during our stay. The place is very nicely located offering breathtaking views of the bay. This place is a hidden gem, a great base to discover the beauty of the island. Banana bread prepared by Eileen was... More

I finally found my St. John trip log. My wife and I had been sorely missing it, lest the memories of our fabulous trip fade. We can't say enough about the island, Sailview, and our hosts, Mike, and Eileen. Perhaps a few words from the log... The cloud-high view from our Sailview veranda was over fronds, leaves and flowers of... More

All the wonderful things stated in all the wonderful reviews of Sail View are absolutely true. Three of us stayed together using the two rooms so we had the whole property to ourselves. Eileen and Mike were great and staying on the eastern side of St John was relaxing and fun. Great place to explore the whole island. You will... More

We had a wonderful stay at Sailview. Mike and Eileen met us at the ferry, served us a wonderful little dinner, and treated us like family. They provided beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, bug spray, and helped with us find a rental car. They made our stay so stress-free. Eileen gave us a quick tour of Cruz Bay and... More

Mike and Eileen are great. Super nice and there if you need them. The villa was beautiful. Decor looked straight out of Pottery Barn. Small fridge stocked with snacks and a light dinner prepared for our arrival. The driveway does deserve mentioning... I was our primary driver and it pretty much scared the hell out of us both. We got... More

First time to St. John and the experience couldn't have been better. The accommodations are first rate-- laid-back and beautiful. Not right on the water but that's also why you won't be paying $500 a night at some tired resort. Sailview is like a great B&B without the doilies and forced interactions with other guests. There's only one other guest... More
