3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 May 2013 NEW

Overpriced for a very basic double room (£105.00). My husband used the pool and spa facilities and they were very good. My food was lovely, I had the lamb, my husband had the pork loin and it was tough. We went because we had a gift voucher bought for a Xmas present for us but wouldn't return only at a... More

This was my third stay at Nant Ddu. Spa treatments are lovley, the therapists make you feel very welcom and relaxed. The food is very good, the restaruant has a nice atmosphere, breakfasts are excelent and all the staff are very helpful. I first stayed about 5 years ago and some of the rooms are now looking a little tired... More

Wrote a review back in Oct 2011 after another stay. I have been for a few meals and spent the night since and I still think it is good value for the "saver" ie B&B with £50 towards dinner. All staff are very good especially Angharad who has a great personality. The only thing I cannot understand is why with... More

After a long day walking in Peny Fan and the beautiful surrounding area it was great to return to the use of the spa facilities to rest those tired muscles. Our room was a standard room but very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay relaxing. Mary and the... More

Having stayed here before and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we decided to stay again this year. The food in the restaurant is fantastic and service very good, bar welcoming with open fire, shame the bar man felt the need to discuss how awful some of their wines were though. This time we decided to book ourselves a 25 minute back... More

We had a large, well appointed room; clean and quiet, overlooking the river. The bed was huge, and very comfortable. Dinner in the Bistro (should be entitled restaurant) was excellent. A good, varied and innovative menu, hearty and nicely presented. Buffet breakfast was dismal. Just prepacked cereal and other bits, with some stalish bread for toast. Cooked breakfast was extra, but... More

Just got back from a one night stay with family. The hotel is in a lovely location off the main road and next to a stream. Rhe surrounding scenery is stunning. The hotel entrance is at the back and we arrived early so couldn't get in our rooms. The staff showed us where the gym and pool were and so... More

Stayed on a Friday night with a large group to celebrate a 50th birthday. We were all put in superior river rooms (rooms 26 to 30 where 30 is the family room and I was in room 28). All rooms were immaculate and so quiet. We had the window open and all we could hear was the river and birds.... More
