It was so great to see George and Maureen, the owners of Shangri-La. We have been "visiting" Shangri-La since the B&B opened and we look forward to seeing them every year. We like to stay away from the big hotels and experience our destination. The accommodations are great, and the hosts are warm, friendly, delightful - and more. We have... More

We have been staying at the Shangri-La Bed and Breakfast for several years now. We have always received the most personal attention possible.. The food is great!!! The house is magnificent, staff is very friendly, helpful and everyone seems to go the extra mile for you. It is a wonderful place to relax, meet other people and take life easy.... More

Shangri-La is indeed a hidden gem offering luxury at a fraction of the cost. Located in West Bay, it's a 5 minute drive from Seven Mile Beach. You will need a rental car or use a local taxi. We chose a rental car which worked out great. George and Maureen are gracious hosts who are very attentive to your every... More

My wife and I stayed at the Shangri-la for 4 nights in early March and everything was perfect. Very laid back and relaxing. Breakfast each morning was 5 star and the host George Senior and his staff were excellent. George and his wife were very helpful for dining (try Fidel Murphys pub or the Calypso to treat your wife) and... More

I arrived at Shangri La off the London plane and despite 6 emails and a visit to confirm my booking 3 days before (very short trip to UK) I arrived at Shangri La to be told that there was no room for me. They could put me on a roll away in my friends room (totally unacceptable) or go elsewhere.... More

My husband and I stayed at Shangri-La in mid-January 2012. We had the good fortune to stay in the most beautiful room (we saw most of them) called Cayman Palm. Comfortable king bed, walk-out onto the pool deck (private entrance separate from the main building), steps away from the hot tub that we enjoyed every night under the stars. The... More

When, my girlfriend set out for us to go on vacation I had no idea that her choosing the Shangri- La bed & breakfast was going to be this wonderful. I can't speak more highly about the Shang-Ri-La. I share this review so that others may experience a little bit of heaven, in this secret paradise nestled beyond, your very... More

Truly a wonderful experience. From the gorgeous rooms to the home-made breakfasts that you can choose to take advantage of, we felt immediately like part of the 'family'. Even divers with early starts don't miss out on b/fast, as a continental package was left in the refrigerator for us to take away. We don't really understand why another visitor complained... More

My husband and I stayed at the Shangri-La in February and it truly was our best vacation yet! The house itself is beautifully furnished and very cozy. We felt right at home, and George and Maureen were very welcoming and bent over backward to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfasts each day were absolutely amazing, and eating... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Shangri-La B&B first half of January. We wanted to stay at a B&B because we appreciate different cuisine and cultures of different islands. Upon arrival we were picked up by Brian, our taxi guy for the rest of the week - truly a great man, that offers a better deal than the typical... More
