From the beginning stages of the trip planning process all the way up to our last morning there, Steve and Danielle were incredibly friendly and so helpful. The greeted us upon arrival with a cold beer and a delicious meal, and from that point on, we felt right at home. We rented the Cottage, which is the larger, free-standing room... More

We had a wonderful time staying at the Boiled Frog. Steve, Danielle and their family are excellent hosts, very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are large and well equipped, including air conditioner and a small fridge. A selection of breakfast food is provided and you can use the kitchen to make meals if you wish. Danielle is an excellent cook... More

I have stayed in alot of good guest houses over the world but this is miles ahead of the rest. Nothing is to much trouble for Steve and Danielle. The food for evening meal is not only fantastic but cheap as well. I will be certainly coming back in the future. Alan A More

We recently stayed in St Lucia for a wedding and were lucky enough to be staying at the boiled frog guesthouse. We are frequent travellers worldwide, and have stayed in many different properties, but can safely say that this is the best place we have ever stayed. The place is beautiful, a stones throw from the beach and a short... More

We had a wonderful week in the Cottage. Steve and Danielle were very gracious hosts. Their local knowledge was invaluable to our trip. They welcomed us in and made us feel like we were at home sharing delicious family meals and fantastic conversation with us. Excellent location just off the beach, close to the Castries and Rodney Bay. The Boiled... More

We had a great week in Boiled Frog! The place is absolutely beautiful and conveniently located. The main bus line between Gros Islet and Castries runs just by the guest house 24/7. The hosts Danielle & Steve were wonderful, really helpful and kind. You can ask anything and you get always answer with smile :) You have a possibility to... More

The Boiled Frog is run by Steve and Danielle Unruh, two young Canadian expats who tired of suffering through northern Canadian winters. They are cheerful, always helpful and have a slightly quirky sense of humour. Steve, an aspiring novelist, relates that a lady in a supermarket checkout line once accused him of being Jesus. Danielle watches all the cooking shows... More

Our experience at the Boiled Frog was fun and relaxing. Danielle and Steve were awesome and made us feel very at home from the moment we met them. The rum drinks (I can't remember the name of them) were delicious and enough of a reason to visit on its own. On top of that, the nearby beach is beautiful and... More

The owners Danielle and Steve are very friendly and helpfull. We were invited for dinner on the first night and the food was great. Our room was big and clean with a fridge, airconditioning, double bed, beachtowels and a bathroom with shampoo and everything. You can relax in a hammog on the veranda with an amazing view on the beach.... More

St Lucia's motto is "Simply Beautiful", they should add "Simply Amazing" for the Boiled Frog ! If you are a traveller who truly values interactions with other people in addition to the interaction with the place, then you HAVE to spend some time here. If I had to sum it up in one sentence, this will easily become your home... More
