I visited this little gem in the island some years ago and have to say that it was a very rewarding experience. First of all, the property itself has some distance from the main town, yet is not too far away to be an inconvenience, this gives the property some privacy while still making it convenient to visit the local... Sure, I read my reviews here before I booked - but everyone has different expectations so I thought I would go ahead and book. Overall point to make....WAY overpriced for the condition of the premises. Don't get me wrong, we still had a wonderful time and there were definitely pros to the stay, but mostly cons. The pros? Very nice... More

I love the idea of this hotel, it has the feeling of an old Humphrey Bogart movie, and the grounds, pools, views are all really nice; they are the reason for the four stars. The room however left a little to be desired. First off, I payed $150 for a room, and they told me that it would cost an... More

My Title pretty much says it all. Please don't get me wrong, I wasnt expecting the Ritz plus being on a secluded island my expectations are always less than a commercial traffic area but for the price I paid ($250+ per night) I would at least expect a properly working air conditioning and my room to be cleaned properly. The... More

This resort is heaven on earth, from beginning to end. Be prepared to be a little surprised when you first arrive. There are horses running free on this island with igrets helping keep the horses clean. This resort is everything my husband I were looking for and more. Peaceful, beautiful, quiet, convenient. Paradise on earth. What an amazing respite from... More

The staff is friendly and helpful. The site is very good, although there is a big room for improvements to make this place really lovely! I am not sure how much you can trust these people (management, not staff)! Here is the example: When we are out traveling, especially out in an unfamiliar world, we are reminded to keep your... More

We arrived after a long and difficult journey from London, England to find the bar and restaurant closed for a private function, for the entire day and night!. There are no close eat and drink alternatives. What a horrible way to treat guests! They couldn't be bothered to the care of guests paying $400 per night for a so called... More

This hotel has no beach but it's in a quiet part of Vieques, about 3/4 mi. from Esperanza, and it has many offsetting advantages. It has beautiful views of the blue horizon, and from our room, #104, "Aurora," we could hear the surf pound the rocks 40 or 50 yards in front of us. The room was tastefully furnished, good... More

My husband and I recently had a big celebration to renew our vows at the Inn and were very happy with our experience. We rented all 11 rooms for our family members and stayed for 5 days. The service was excellent. The food at the restaurant is top notch, one of the best hotel restaurants we have come across in... More

Stayed here March 2013 for one night. Another customer mentioned they stayed in the Josephina casita and that to consider it an ocean-front room was a stretch. I couldnt agree more. We were EXTREMELY disappointed to find out that we paid $400 (after taxes) for a room from which you could BARELY see the ocean, but had a nice view... More
