almost, but not quite the excellent quality we'd hoped for in choosing this small boutique property. the resort is small, which we expected. beach was a smaller than expected and while fine for lounging and reading it was not good for swimming, snorkeling, or even wading. it was impossible to take a long beach stroll because the beach literally stops... We stayed at the Resort January 29 for seven nights. The resort is smaller than most but very nice and close to the airport. The staff was mostly (read on) pleasant and helpful. The food was very good.We found the beach smaller than expected and not conducive to strolling that we usually enjoy, but we knew that from our earlier... More

Coyaba is a great boutique hotel. When you first enter the hotel, there is a a lovely lobby area with comfortable furniture to relax in. Once you have checked in, toy walk through to the three story building where the room and suites are. If you keep walking you end up at the pool and hot tub, with a pool... More

Lovely hotel and convenient for the airport. The beach isn't great here-very small and little movement from the sea means that debris and seaweed tend to stick around the waters edge. Rooms are colonial in style, reminiscent of plantation houses. Most of the time, the staff are friendly and helpful although you do occasionally come across a grumpy waiter. It... More

We stayed at Coyaba for a week and loved absolutely everything about it. First impressions were fantastic, we were offered cocktails on checkin. We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the sea. The staff were friendly and always helpful. Great food. I wish I could go back. More

We arrived into Montego Bay on a late flight from Amsterdam so decided to opt for a hotel near the airport. We didn't want a huge all inclusive though so this was a good choice for us. We stayed in total 3 nights in Feb 2012. The taxi from the airport was quick although costly (25 USD) for the distance.... More

Attended a wedding last summer and was the first time I stayed at Coyaba having stayed at The Ritz-Carlton before for business. I have to say that I truly enjoyed the experience at Coyaba with my family because it felt more relaxed and I was not afraid that my kids would be disruptive to other guests. The staff was extremely... More

Everything here is top shelf. Very comfortable beds, nice baths, and excellent room service. Also, good TV and Selection of stations. Pool could have been larger, but was attractive. The restaurants were both very good. Nice to see a small boutique hotel such as this in Jamaica. The ownership appears to be "hands-on". Stayed here, maybe 8 visits over the... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our 1/24-2/2/12 stay. We selected the all inclusive plan and recommend it for those planning to eat most of their meals and spend most their time at the resort. Especially if you enjoy a cocktail or two. We own our own restaurant in a resort area and greatly appreciated the quality and variety of the food. Service was... More

My sister and I were looking for a nice, clean, & traveler friendly resort to stay at for a couple of 'post-holiday' R&R days. I'm happy to say that the Coyaba not only met but exceeded our expectations. The grounds and the resort, including our room, were immaculately clean and in order. The resort is big enough that you don't... More
