Good staff! Scotty is the owner or big boss I think. He was helpful and courteous to me the whole time during my 3 day stay in Kingston. Then there is the night security guard named Welch I think his name is...he was very helpful and cool too. Zena is another staff member who was sweet and helpful too. Met... More

I have not been to the all inclusive ghettos for (american) tourists, only 'jamaican' hotels... It is by far the best place i have stayed in Jamaica ! It is quiet, safe, clean and cheap ! It is close to Halfway Tree bus station, Bob Marley's home and Devon House... Internet access, kitchen and valuable tourist info are available... Guests... More

I wanted to go to Kingston alone. But when it was time to book the flight and hostel I heard all these crazy and scary stories bout Jamaica and especially bout Kingston. 'dont go there, it is dangerous, especially for a (blond) woman travelling alone'. I got scared and even though I read al the good stories bout the reggeahostel... More

Wireless, kitchen to cook in and a nice bar to have a drink...! Ps! Take a taxi while tavelling in the dark.... More

The best place to meet very nice and relaxed people, while staying at a really nice and save place in Uptown Kingston. Scotty and his Crew are always there to help but also a very good company to have a drink once in a while. The hostel is simply the best place to stay for your Kingston adventure...even if you... Clean, friendly and chill hostel. Met some really interesting people here. The staff were super helpful. Only cons were: - The location. It's unmarked and on a quiet, dark, residential street. I'd be afraid to walk in the area alone at night. It's about a 15-20 min walk to the Half Way Tree Bus terminal. There weren't many dining and... More
