My husband and I wanted a hotel on Gran Anse beach for a few nights. Allamanda is well located on the central portion of the beach right next to Coyaba at a much cheaper rate. That being said the hotel is in need of an upgrade. The rooms are dated and remind me of a Miami motel. It is not a... More

We needed a place to stay in St. Georges for one night on the front and back end of a sailing trip. I had high hopes for this place, based on very prompt email responses with the reservations manager while planning the trip. She also set us up with a taxi driver who gave us a wonderful tour of the... More

My fiancé and her friend had lunch at the Hotel's restaurant and then went to the beach. I went there to meet them and parked my car at the hotel. When we were ready to leave, we all walked back through the hotel to go to my car when we were met by an big angry guy with a Russian... More

I have been going to Grenada since 1975 and really find Allamanda for fills my needs. The owners and staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Allamanda is well located with shops and amenities near by and best of all, direct access onto Grand... More

The resort is ideally located at the beautiful Grand Anse Beach. The Resort is relatively cheaper in accomodation rates in comparison to the rest of resorts along this coastline. The hotel has the basic amenities and is comfortable. The Spice Isle Mall is located 2 mins walk where you can get food, and you can get a maxi to go... More

This was a good find for me . a Quiet spacious resort at about $120 a night including breakfast. The hotel is run by a lovely Iranian couple who are welcoming and helpful. I stayed only two nights and felt very comfortable there. The bed was comfy, everything worked well in the room and bathroom. This hotel is right on... More

Got bitten very badly here, food very fussy and not really what ordered very nicely presented on the plate but expensive for what it was and parking was not great and a bit of a long winded way to get there through the hotel More

The location is very nice, just a short walk from your room to the beach and pool area. The room was rather dark and drab, clearly overdue for refurbishment. Needed a lot of spraying to clear it of mosquitos. This hotel is clearly not up to the standards of the Rex or True Blue, but to be fair, neither are... More

Recently stayed at the Allamanda for 1 week, and after reading the reviews was pleasantly surprised. Check in on arrival was very quick and we were soon in our room and unpacked. The room was basic, but well equipped with everything we needed - good airconditioning, ceiling fan, cable t.v and coffee maker. The beds were a good size and... More

Drop the price to $25 per night to match the lack of quality or upgrade the place. My wife had to clean the bathroom and sheets of pubic hairs after checking in. The annoying noise was not the refrigerator hum (she unplugged it) - turned out it was mice or rats in the walls and doors. The door was rotten... More
