After carefully reading other reviews I had some minor concerns. They were unwarranted. I have never received better service anywhere in RD. My room on the first floor was clean, modern and spacious without relying on technological gadgets that can take hours to fully understand. The free pool table and equipment was top notch. An excellent hotel made more enjoyable by the staff and personnel. Carmen the concierge was of immense assistance and value to us during our stay.
The location was central to exploring the Colonial Zone with out requiring the use of taxis or transportation.
Only the bed was not commensurate with the quality/standards set by the rest of the hotel.

Cannot fault this place. Without doubt the best hotel in SD, mainly due to it's location in the zona colonial, but also because of the lovely pool, great breakfasts and huge beds! Our room was a bit small and it's a little expensive but definitely worth it. Stay here.
