Despite the impressive architecture of the building and courtyard, there is nothing special on the inside. If you're interested in watching a lot of TV, you'd be impressed with the channel selections. Hotel had a good, central location, close to the town area and beach. Has it's own snack bar with state priced beer - cheap! The room was ok, large, clean, bathroom nice. This Hotel is listed as a good budget choice for Varadero. Our room was in the rear building - not in the main building. Rooms are extremely basic and overpriced for what you get. Staff is unfriendly and not helpful at all. I would not recommend this Hotel. More

first room shown/ dark damp horrid.We were told for an extra 10 cuban convertables per night we could have a better room. it wasnt much better and still small and damp with paint off the wall but it did have a balcony.
