This hotel is a joke ! Six of us stayed here and the service was a disgrace to say the least !! The rooms themselves were actually nice but very noisy on the front so we had to be moved as you couldn't get to sleep for car horns !!!! The problems we experienced were no loo rolls in any... More

We recently spent 3 nights at the Hotel Saratoga. The lobby, restaurant, and mezzanine bar/lounge are all very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Our room was quite large with cushioned bench seating in front of the windows. The bed was just right and the bathroom amenities were very generously sized. During our stay we found the staff to be friendly and... More

From the rooftop pool/restaurant you can see the National theatre, museums, and other main attractions located close by. The rooms are excellent and staff very helpful. You can change your money at the hotel. Internet is FREE (but Cuba slow!). This is a medium size hotel so it is not too "busy". My group chose well. More

Me and my new wife visited the Saratoga Hotel as part of a twin centre trip for our honeymoon. We arrived after a long flight in the afternoon and upon arrival our cases where offloaded and taken away by the porters. We found checking in no problem at all and found the reception staff upon arrival and throughout professional and... More

The Saratoga has been tastefully restored to give you rooms with a Colonial air without the chintz and fuss. The wrought iron balcony of our first room overlooked the Capitolio and Partagas Cigar Factory so the temptation was just to sit and watch Havana roar by below, admittedly a less attractive prospect if you've trying to sleep off a night... Free wifi is nearly unheard of throughout Cuba! Great location opposite the Capitol and great pool...room though supposedly upgraded had some weird smell and facing the strreet so quite noisy...everything's expensive and TV in the room was the old fat TV that couldn't be moved around so I could watch it from my bed...bathroom was gorgeous though More

My friends and I stayed at the Saratoga hotel at the end of April 2012. Sadly, we were extremely disappointed with the level of service we received from the hotel staff. A simple smile was too much for them! They were aloof, very dismissive and more concerned with making small talk amongst themselves than taking our orders. When we did... More

This is a really beautiful hotel in a very interesting city. We arrived on 12th April after a horrendous airport transfer in a very scary cab. Check in was woeful, the ladies on the front desk have no interpersonal skills and would rather chat amongst themselves than help out paying customers. Once checked in though, the bellboys were lovely and... More

We really liked this gem in Havana ..the only caveat is do not book the junior suite facing the street and square although large and comfy the street noise is super loud..almost like being in the middle of the revolution. Book the smaller but very adequate inner court yard rooms..cheaper too. Restaurant is good...breakfast yummy.....bar on mezzanine cool...concierge attentive and... More

We only stayed for one night (last night in Cuba) and had booked a Junior Suite. As is customary in Cuba, the hotel had been overbooked and was 'full'. Some customers will have been asked to go elsewhere, but as we had booked a higher grade room we were upgraded to a Habana Suite. It was a corner suite on... More
