This casa his without a doubt the most confortable room we had of our trip in Cuba. We had a chance to visit three really great casa and this one was the most confortable. The price was also higher than the other, but we have to say that it was also much more spacious. We had the pool house room... More

La Rosa d'Ortega was the perfect end to the my final days in Cuba. Hosts Silvio and Julia are really lovely people and run a very well organised, not to mention beautiful home in the suburbs of Havana. This was for me the charm of La Rosa d'Ortega, from the swimming pool terrace you look north to the city, you... More

The last two nights of our two weeks adventure all over Cuba we stayed at La Rosa D'Ortega. This is not typical private house room, it is more like a small boutique hotel. Design, service, quality... everything is perfect! However, Julia's kitchen is something unbelivable! Either you like Italian kitchen with Cuban touch or Cuban kitchen with Italian touch or... More

Arrived in the evening and was greeted by Julia who made us very welcome. We stayed in the beautiful apartment and we were served an amazing breakfast and evening meal. The portions are very generous. We stayed for 4 days and enjoyed every minute of it. Our only sadness was that we were unable to return at the end of... More

The Casa itself is really nice. Bathrooms are newly renovated and look great, rooms are quite alright aswell, there's a swimming pool, and the breakfast is delicious and good value for money (the dinner not quite as much, though still ok). My main issue is the price. You pay 50 CUC a night, and then have to pay about another... More

We spent 4 nights with Julia and Silvio and it was our best experience ever in a guest house (I should also include hotels, even 5 stars)! Everything is already said by other reviews, the only thing I would like to recommend is to ask for Robert if you need a cab to go in town. If we come back... More

The beautiful house is in a proper Cuban neiborhood where the only tourist you will find, is yourselves. Only 15 mins from the city centre, is a great experience on how it is to live in La Habana. The house is beautiful and has been renovated is a wonderful way, the room is spacious and breakfast is excellent! The area... More

We highly recommend this place, Julia and Silvio, the owners are wonderful people and very professional. The whole house is spotless, beautifully decorated and has kept the soul and spirit of old Havana. Chef Julia created the best meals that we've ever had, not just in Cuba (which we've visited 10 times) but also around the world, so don't bother... More

Among may be 25 different that I tried over the last 17 years the Ortega´s family B&B is by far the best I have ever been too. It is cozy, spacious, has good breakfast and home-cooked dinners, if you´re into it; you are very well attended around the clock, and the feel stays always warm but not pushy. It is... More

We would thoroughly recommend this B&B high on the hill above the bustle of central Havana. It is indeed a quiet haven in beautifully restored villa with a lovely garden an swimming pool to ease away the aches and pains after a tiring day's sightseeing. The accommodation is spotless, all rooms with en-suite bathrooms and there is also a self-contained... More
