Hotel very basic, simple room, hot water but not a big pressure, simple single bed, cleaned rooms. This hotel is perfect if you want to visit the old Havana and have a basic room to sleep at night. it is close to every museum, Capitole, Theatre, restaurants of the old Havan and will help you avoid taking taxis everywhere. Close... More

We really enjoyed our location above the Prado. There was always something going on just across the street- gym classes, art sales, lots of room for meeting friends. The 'Fantasy Cars' seem to like circling the boulevard, and we were just down from the wedding bureau so often saw these couples. A good bakery with convenience store less than a... More

This was the first (and only) night we stayed at hotel in Cuba. After that we prefered to stay at casas (all casas in Havana, Trinidad and Vinjales we liked a lot). But about this hotel - no window, no air, no hot water, terrible room. Good thing was its location, but there are many casas also with good location... More

We stayed here because our tour started here - certainly would not choose it. If I wanted a budget hotel in a good location, then I might choose it as it is at least clean. We also ate one night in the attached cafe, and the food is dirt cheap and acceptable. However, if I returned to Havana I think... More

My one week package to Havana Cuba was at the Hotel Caribbean on Prado, in Havana. It's approx 3 long blocks from Parque Central (central park). The location is fantastic. It appears to be a medium budget hotel, that had European tourists, as well as the odd Cuban businessman travelling. The rooms were small sized and plain, but clean. Room... More

I just came back from Cuba and spent two weeks at the Caribbean Hotel in Havana. I travel with Sunwing and I usually stay at the Tropicoco. However, since I spend most of my night life in Havana, I decided to stay at the Caribbean this time. The hotel is about 50 + years old (according to the staff at... More

We were staying at a three star hotel in Varadero. We loved it, a little gem, (Club los Delfines). We took a moped to Havana, and it was getting late. So we looked for a hotel for an overnight stay, then return to our hotel. There was a festival, and this hotel had one of the few rooms left. So... More

We stayed at this hotel for a week during New year's eve. We had a great deal with the airline company Sunwing including the flight from Montréal and 7 nights at this hotel. So we didn't expect much, given the low price paid. The hotel itself is ok ... The room was clean (thanks to our chambermaid Ida who really... More

I stayed in three different windowless rooms, no complaints about the cleanliness and the water was hot but some very loud machinery kicks in in the middle of the night making sleep almost impossible. The staff are occasionally surly, my overall impression being that in this hotel guests not spraying cucs (convertible pesos) around are regarded as little more than... More
