My family spent 3 nights in Havana and loved being at the Havana Libre. We were on the 17th floor on a corner overlooking Copelia and la Rampa. The views of the city and malecon were priceless. The breakfast was quite comprehensive and my daughter loved swimming in the pool. We found the pool to be clean compared to other... More

Originally the Hilton the rooms are large and well equipped including a 42inch tv and spacious bathroom with shower gel and shampoo provided. Breakfast was a huge buffet with almost everything you could think of and included being serenaded by a lady on the grand piano but then again almost all meals in Cuba are accompanied by some sort of... The service oriented culture does not exist in Cuba and one can feel quite vulnerable when the attendants do not scramble to your help as you approach the desk, the waiter, or somebody behind a desk. The hotel has seen better days, but the room still had that awesome splendor of a bygone era. Our room was at the 24th... More

Well! After trawling through all the depressing reviews on here we booked this hotel anyway. After all it was only somewhere to sleep after a hard days sightseeing. We arrived late at night, tired and grumpy after 24 hrs travelling. First look at the room and the other half wanted to go home! But after a good nights sleep it... More

The 25 stories high Tryp Habana Libre, formerly known as the Habana Hilton, is a good place to stay when visiting Habana. We stayed three nights in this hotel. Rooms are large with king sized beds. Fridge, TV and airco are available. All outlets are 110V. Only one has an European connector all the other ones have an US form... More

We planned our Easter trip to Cuba with only 3 weeks notice. So, when we tried to book a comfortable hotel for our first two nights in Havana this was the only one free. We booked a room on 17th floor with a view of the bay and the old town and it was a nice room with a good... More

Had four nights here and it's great value for money. With 25 storeys it's the tallest building in the area and offers fantastic views of the city. We were on the 16th floor and could see right across Havana including the Capitolio Nacional building in the distance and the sea. ROOM - Modern, clean and spacious with two double beds.... More

Weeding through the usual manic depressive trip advisor reviews from 4 stars to 0 stars for the tryp was nothing new... It always comes down to knowing what youre looking for in a hotel looking into those aspects and going for what suits you best... Me and a friend were looking for a Vedado or Viejo hotel with a pool... More
