Highs: Excellent location within a short walk from the 'town centre' and close to markets & airport. Well ran and equipped dive operator. A top class house reef (Calabas) Deluxe ocean view rooms right by the water. Wonderful to sip morning coffee or early evening drink at the balcony. Comfortable beds. Some of the staff helpful and customer oriented. Birdlife... More

I am a Dive Instructor and I have been traveling with groups to Bonaire for the past 9 years. I always have stayed at the Divi Flamingo Resort. There is no reason to go anywhere else. Their staff and dive operation is second to none. My biggest concerns when bringing a group are safety and ease of diving. The manager... More

Serge and his team of dive masters are simply the best. The sign up boards allow you to choose boats and times.I have been diving with these folks for over 20 years, they remember where you like to sit on the boat, the size of tank you want and more Additional boats are added as needed The boats have been... Not sure what some of the whiny-complainers were expecting, this was not supposed to be the Ritz! This resort is a Caribbean dive location, and they do a remarkable job. The dive operation is the best I've seen, with friendly, knowledgeable staff, run by the very competent Serge. The diving is AWESOME here, the reef is immaculate, and the fish... More

We spent a great week in Bonaire. The resort itself is not a 5-star resort like what I've used before, but this trip was about scuba diving and this is what the resort is about. The restaurant is OK and there are very good restaurants just ouside the property as well. The room is pretty ordinary but still comfortable (I... More

The good: The food was plentiful and pretty good. Breakfast included sausages, hash, boiled eggs, a version of home fries, scrambled eggs, toast, fresh fruit and lots more. They also would cook you an omlette with various fillings as well as pancakes and fried eggs. It was, for the most part, the same each day. Lunch had numerous dishes (plus... More

As this was my first time staying at a Divi resort, I wasn't sure what to expect but given Divi's reputation in general I have to say I was somewhat disappointed by this particular resort. From the beginning the operation seemed to be poorly organized, and although we were a large group (50+) the resort certainly had plenty of time... More

We'd like to thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay at Divi Flamingo and we wanted to address your concerns. Being on an island we have challenges with keeping supplies in hand, beach towels are ordered and arriving next week. As for the United Air red-eye arrival; this has become a challenge unless the... This was my first diving experience. Since I'm french you might find some weird expressions, my apologies. We were a group of 9 divers. Transportation from and to the airport had been taking care of by the resort . We arrived early morning from Newark and we had to slowdown our north American pace to the much slower pace of... More

I spent a week at Divi Flamingo with a group of 35 divers from across the US and Canada. First, the highlight of the trip was the Dive Op. I have dove around the world and expereinced the best and worst of the dive business. The Divi Dive op is one of the best that I have encountered. It runs... More

I just came back from the Diva Flamingo Resort in Bonaire, I took 18 people from our Dive store there on a dive package including lodging, food, and diving. The overall experince was good, the Dive opperation did a great job, the rooms were clean and very nice, the food was good although slow at times but some of that... More
